The Volkswagen we are offering is a rare Volkswagen T4 with original Westfalia equipment and German first delivery in the colour combination white/grey. The T4 was the first Transporter model from VW that was available in two different lengths of body and wheelbase. The new drive concept with transversely mounted in-line engines at the front (later also VR engines) and front-wheel drive enabled a continuous loading area. In 1992, the T4 was voted Transporter of the Year. In addition, the T4 series is one of the most reliable buses VW has built to date, which is why the T4 Westfalia models are extremely popular.

The bus was completely derusted 1 1/2 years ago, the sheet metal butt welded and completely repainted. Pictures of the welding work are also available and can be provided on request. In addition, the vehicle has been cavity sealed so that no further rust work will be necessary for many years. All necessary technical measures have been carried out and can be proven by invoices and documents. The V-belt was changed a year ago, but this was not recorded in the engine compartment (dated 2015). Receipts for this are also available.

Not-so-nice areas on the car include three small cracks on the roof, which are also clearly visible in the photos. There are also one or two small scratches on the bumper, which was left untouched during the restoration. All other parts are mostly original or have been replaced, restored and of course cavity sealed.
