The Volvo we are offering is a reliable Volvo 945 2.0 l in a timeless color combination: white with gray cloth seats. After six years of ownership, it is now time to part with the car.

The car was acquired by the current owner from the first owner, who only sold it because someone rear-ended the car at a traffic light. Pictures of the minor body damage are available, as well as an appraisal and the data from the alignment bench.

A significant amount has been invested in the Volvo over the past six years, primarily to preserve the old DIN license plate in the 1451 font style:

• Straightening the car on the alignment bench, welding, and painting both sides

• Replacing the ignition lock

• Welding the trunk recesses and rear tips

• All four shock absorbers new (original Volvo), rear with springs

• New clutch

• Replacing the used pulley

• Replacing the cylinder head gasket

• Overhauling the cylinder head, including new valves

• Replacing the ignition system completely

• New water pump

• New exhaust (except for the catalytic converter)

• New front left fender

• New windshield wiper arms front and rear

• New blinkers and taillights

• New front bumper

• New timing belt (from 2023)

• New center support bearing for the driveshaft

• New rear brakes including calipers, front and rear hoses

• New front left ball joint

• Four original "Omega" rims newly powder-coated

• New front windshield

• New hubcaps for winter tires

• Cavity sealing with Mike Sanders grease

• Exterior paint up to the window line (excluding the hood)

Some work still needs to be done: the front brakes need to be replaced, and last week the antenna was broken off in the parking garage. Given the mileage and the cavity sealing, one should not expect a perfect car. However, it is a great companion, exceptionally well-maintained compared to other models on the market, especially when considering the price range. Nevertheless, one should be aware that the car will require ongoing maintenance to continue enjoying the driving experience.
