There are many Volkswagen Sciroccos on the market. This is not one of them. Delivered new in 1991 to a Volkswagen dealership in Recklinghausen, this Scirocco GT II never followed the path most cars do. Instead of being sold immediately, it remained in the hands of the dealership owner, who decided to keep it as part of his personal collection.

Years later, the current owner discovered the car standing quietly in the middle of the showroom. Captivated by its condition and originality, he spent years trying to convince the owner to sell it. In 2003, his persistence paid off, and the Scirocco has remained in his care for more than two decades ever since.

Today, the odometer shows just over 2,200 kilometers from new. What makes this car so remarkable is not simply its mileage, but the way it has been preserved. It was never forgotten in a corner or hidden away indefinitely. Throughout its life, it was periodically driven, carefully maintained and stored in a dry environment to keep all mechanical components in proper working order.

Open the door and you are greeted by details rarely seen anymore: the original tartan interior, the factory VW Gamma radio, the original 1991 tires and even the unmistakable atmosphere of a virtually untouched early 1990s Volkswagen. Unlike many collector cars, this Scirocco has not been restored. It has simply survived.
