The Alfa Romeo we are offering is a rare Alfa Romeo GTV 6 2.5, formerly also known as "Alfetta", with German first delivery in the colour combination red/black. The GTV 6 belongs to the facelift model introduced in 1980, which can be recognised mainly by the plastic bumpers, spoiler and side panels, the new dashboard and seats. The GTV 6 can be recognised externally by a "hump" on the bonnet. The prefix "Alfetta" disappeared from the name.

 

The vehicle has been partially restored over the last few years, both technically and in terms of sheet metal. This includes rust removal work on the bodywork, as well as a complete engine overhaul with various work and new parts such as new brake calipers, alternator, starter etc. All documents are available and can be proven. Furthermore, a beautiful velour interior and an OMP Alcantara sports steering wheel are installed, which provide an 80's driving experience. Thanks to the legendary Busso engine, driving on e.g. German country roads is a lot of fun. Proof that you don't need much power to put a smile on someone's face. The original interior, rims and steering wheel can be delivered on request.

Nevertheless, we are talking about an Italian that has been around for 40 years. Despite the partial restoration, various traces of use are visible. The rust spots are within limits and have been photographed accordingly (see pictures). The underbody is dry and the substance is above average for an Alfa Romeo. The trans-axle gearbox requires sensitive shifting. The paint is faded in some places, as only necessary areas were repainted.

Overall, the GTV 6 is in good general condition. You can definitely forgive the one or other spot due to its age and above all at the latest due to the driving pleasure.
