The C123 was preserved with anti-corrosion grease. Nevertheless, there are some spots, that cannot be ignored over the years. Among other things, the lower areas of the doors are infested with manageable rust from the inside (should be addressed in the next few years) as well as the car has small bubbles in very few places, which can also be seen in the pictures. Otherwise, no other spots or general rust-through were found.

 

The lower brown spots on the front bumper are not rust, but traces from the wax to counteract the rust. These can also be seen in the engine compartment on the left and right sides.

The car is otherwise in good condition and attracts attention thanks to the wonderful and nowadays rare colour combination. The manual gearbox shifts well and seems much livelier than an automatic gearbox. In addition a folder full of recent work over the last 20 years is available. The TÜV will be renewed this month, so that nothing stands in the way of continuing the journey.
