The Mercedes-Benz we are offering is a 280 SL in the colour combination cream white/brown. The vehicle comes from the USA and was sold via a Belgian importer to a dealer in Germany until the current owner took over the vehicle in 2011. Receipts from customs clearance are available.

Special features include:

- 1st hand in DE since 2011

- Manual 4-speed gearbox

- Rev counter

- Freshly upholstered leather seats

- Retrofitted heated seats

- Radio Becker Europe

- Power steering

- Fabric on soft top without tears

- No Rust

- Hardtop in car colour

Nevertheless, some defects were also found on the car:

- Speed indicator defective

- Slight pimples on the boot lid (only visible in the dark)

- Chrome cap on rear left wheel slightly worn (see pictures)

- Slight rust in the engine compartment (see pictures)

- Sealing glue is coming loose on the lower doors (see pictures)

- Hardtop in bad condition

Although the original cheque book is not available, it has been regularly serviced over the last few years and is traceable since last ownership. This has included work such as rust removal from the brake lines, replacement of the oil cooler, water pump etc. Among other things, the brake discs and pads, as well as the fuel hoses have been renewed. Documents can be sent on request. The last service was in 2020 with a read mileage of 3,582km. Otherwise, the vehicle has a patina that suits the vehicle.

If you are looking for the top model of the Pagoda series, which should also be driven, with manageable defects, but in technically perfect condition incl. puristic sound, you will find it with this model.

The car is registered and is parked in a dry garage in Hamburg and can be viewed by appointment.
